about us :
It all began on a college climbing trip in the Spring of 2017. Brooke and Noah had recently started climbing and were on their first outdoor bouldering experience in Rocktown, Georgia. They didn’t meet till the very end of the trip, but after one conversation they decided to become belay partners back at their local climbing gym (then known as Tallahassee Rock Gym). Little did they know that this interaction would lead to them dating, falling in love, and starting Connective Climbing.
After graduating from college in 2019 they packed up their cars and moved across the country to Colorado. They wanted to be closer to the mountains + real rocks. Florida (where they grew up) is lacking in that area.
How Connective Climbing Started
In December 2021, Brooke had the idea of posting some of her climbing videos on TikTok. And in true Brooke fashion, she went for it. One of her first ten videos went viral with over 1.5M views. After gaining thousands of followers in mere weeks she decided to take posting on Tiktok more seriously.
At this time, Noah was coaching Brooke on her climbing as she started to take it more seriously. She started filming his coaching tips and sharing them on social media. That’s when the account really started to blow up. This led Brooke and Noah to notice the lack of beginner-friendly climbing content, so they focused their page on that niche.
After a year of posting, they rebranded to Connective Climbing in January of 2023. Along with starting an Instagram and YouTube channel, today they have over 140K followers across their platforms.
As of 2024, they are beginning to offer coaching services and social media consulting.
Brooke has worked as a freelance content creator and social media manager since college. When she isn’t climbing she spends her free time turning her hobbies into businesses (a habit she is trying to break).
Noah has worked in the climbing industry for over seven years and has held the roles of head coach, route setter, front-desk staff, and event coordinator. He is currently the event coordinator at The Climbing Collective gyms in Northern Colorado.
